Admission tests

The type of admissions test you should take depends predominantly on the course you choose to study, and the university you choose to study at. 

The exams are subject-specific tests taken by applicants for Medicine, Philosophy, Politics, Economics, Law, Mathematics and other related courses.

WE WILL MAKE ALL THE NECESSARY ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE LOCAL DELIVERY OF YOUR EXAM, INCLUDING:

  • compliance with the regulations of each university
  • arrangement of a suitable venue with appropriate facilities
  • receipt of your exam materials and their secure storage
  • dispatch of scripts via a reputable international courier to ensure safe and traceable delivery.

BMAT

BioMedical Admissions Test is a subject-specific admissions test for applicants to medicine, veterinary medicine and similar courses at universities.

ELAT

English Literature Admissions Test is a pre-interview admissions test for applicants to English undergraduate courses at the University of Oxford.

HAT

The HAT is a subject-specific admissions test for applicants to the University of Oxford’s undergraduate degree courses in History.

MAT

The MAT is a subject-specific admissions test for applicants to the University of Oxford’s undergraduate degree courses in Mathematics and Computer Science.

STEP

Sixth Term Examination Paper Mathematics is a well-established mathematics examination designed to test candidates on questions that are similar in style to undergraduate mathematics.

TSA

Thinking Skills Assessment as an admissions test, to help them select candidates for courses where critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential.

Fees

If the cost is not covered by the institution where you are registered for the exam, the following fees will apply.

Fee for exam that takes 2 hours and less (including courier) 2 500 CZK
Fee for exams that takes more than 2 hours (including courier)

4 500 CZK

Registration

The dates and costs of admissions tests are designed to fit in with the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) application process.

How to pay

The fees must be settled 2 days before the test the latest by bank transfer. Please email us for bank details. 

Results

Keep the instructions on how to obtain your results that will be issued to you on the examination date.
