British Council is pleased to announce our next Human Library event. It is part of our ongoing equality, diversity & inclusion outreach and is integrated into the British Council’s public work in the Czech Republic.
The event will be at Kampus Hybernská in Prague on 25 February 2026, from 17:00 to 20:00.
Human Library gives the public a chance to meet others with experiences outside of their daily lives. They ‘read‘ human books, ask questions, hear stories & share ideas in a safe, curated environment.
This event’s theme is helping others & public service. The event title is “Human Library of Kindness“.
Guests from various backgrounds; volunteers, people minorities, experts & public figures share thoughts and tell stories about their lived experience.
‘Reading’ sessions last about 20 minutes, with breaks, over the course of 3 hours. Readers can listen to books, ask questions & engage in chat.
