Do you want to improve your general writing skills?

The British Council is offering, not only registered IELTS candidates but everybody, the chance to attend a 3-hour seminar:

Worried about the IELTS writing paper?
The seminar will take a look at the IELTS Writing Paper (Parts 1 and 2) and give you some practical tips, advice and resources to help you on the day. This is for candidates who are aiming for bands 6 – 9 and will cover both the Academic and General papers.

By the end of this seminar you will understand clearly:

  • What is expected 
  • How the writing is accessed
  • How to understand and approach the writing tasks
  • How to plan and divide your time effectively

FEE: candidates registered for the IELTS exam 400 CZK / all others 800 CZK.

Places are limited, so it will be first come first served.

I've been working for the British Council in Prague since 2010, where I teach all levels and ages. I am an examiner for the Cambridge English Starters, Movers and Flyers exams for kids, as well as the PET, FCE and CAE exams for teens and adults. I've worked as a senior teacher, responsible for observations, mentoring, training and resource development; taught marketing and financial English at a private university, and worked as a TEFL trainer.
