cards for memorising vocabulary
Wednesday 16 March 2016 -
20:00 to 21:30
British Council, Prague

English is a word language. It has taken words from many other languages, and in turn, you will most probably find English words in your mother tongue but while they look, or sound familiar, they won't always mean the same. And then there are those words we often confuse. Come and explore some of these false friends and commonly confused words.

This event is in English.

Workshop is led by:

Corporate Courses Coordinator

I've been working for the British Council in Prague since 2010, where I teach all levels and ages. I am an examiner for the Cambridge English Starters, Movers and Flyers exams for kids, as well as the PET, FCE and CAE exams for teens and adults. I've worked as a senior teacher, responsible for observations, mentoring, training and resource development; taught marketing and financial English at a private university, and worked as a TEFL trainer.
